    Eyebrow piercing : information

    The most common way to pierce the eyebrow is vertically through from one side to another. Some people like to do 2 piercings next to each other, about 1/2cm apart. This piercing can also be done horizontally above the eyebrow.

    We offer jewellery for the eyebrow in solid gold, white and yellow. The carat is the unit of measurement of the purity of precious metals. Pure gold (24carats) is too soft to be worked with effectively in jewellery manufacture. In order to harden it, other metals are added. 18 carat gold contains 75% pure gold.

    Eyebrow piercings in gold can be a curved barbell with two screwable ends onto which is screwed balls of varying diameter, depending on its girth: 1.2mm barbells are complemented by 2.5mm balls for a discreet result, and 3 or 4mm balls for a more visible look. These barbells can also be combined with spikes.

    These gold piercing balls (or spikes) can also be applied onto straight barbells. These come in different lengths: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm.

    The balls can be made of solid gold, yellow or white or adorned with zircons. Zircon is a synthetic stone imitation of a diamond. These zircons can, upon request, be replaced with precious stones such as diamonds, rubies and emeralds. You can also screw on Swarovski crystal balls, available in numerous different colours, for a wonderfully glistening look. These balls come 3mm in diameter for screwing on 1.2mm barbell girth.

    More imaginative jewellery in white or yellow gold is also available on the website, including eyebrow piercings in white or yellow gold, with a claw-set zircon on each end. The zircons come in three sizes: 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm. The length of the barbell ranges from 6mm to 9mm at the longest, depending on the piercing. Ask your piercer about the most appropriate size for you. These pieces work with internal screwing, which makes for a very light and visually pleasing result. Only the zircon is visible against the skin.

    These pieces are also available with mounted zircons.

    We also have articulated jewellery adorned with 3 or 4 zircons. Upon request, we can replace the zircons with authentic diamonds, emeralds or rubies.

    Eyebrow piercings can also be done with an arrow, a horizontal snake, or zircon ball.

    Some prefer circular barbells with, on each end, a ball with or without zircon. Or for more adventurous pieces, a ball and spike, in white or yellow gold.
